On Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012, All Saints Academy students began their 4th Annual pledge drive to benefit Life. Students jumped rope to earn their pledges. Not only did this campaign help students improve their health through continued physical exercise, their spiritual lives were greatly blessed through the sacrifice and prayer. By holding the drive over the six weeks in Lent, students were practicing the virtue of perseverance, while holding the Church’s liturgical period of preparation close. ![]() All Saints Academy distributed the funds raised to Baby Nate's Place and to student's mission trip accounts. Baby Nate’s Place serves mothers in crisis pregnancies, to help those mothers choose life for their unborn babies, and to find the temporal support they need. Several of our 8th grade and high school students traveled to Kingston, Jamaica this past June to provide service alongside the Missionaries of the Poor. |
